Grand Josun Busan – Must-Try Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu!

Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu at Grand Josun Busan – A Luxurious Dessert Experience! 🥭✨

One of my favorite spots in Haeundae for an incredible ocean view is the Starbucks on the 2nd floor of Grand Josun Busan.

It used to be a hidden gem, but now it’s always packed with people. Still, every time I visit Busan, I try to stop by for a coffee while enjoying the stunning beach view.

During this year’s Chuseok holiday, I went to Haeundae to catch up with friends and soak in the views. But with so many tourists in town, finding a quiet place was nearly impossible.

That’s when I remembered Lounge & Bar on the 1st floor of Grand Josun—a perfect excuse to indulge in a little luxury. 😉

Grand Josun Busan – Lounge & Bar 🏨☕

📍 292 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan

Located right in front of Haeundae Beach, Grand Josun Busan has a spacious garden area between the hotel and the beach, giving it a more relaxed and open atmosphere compared to other beachfront hotels.

If you didn’t make a reservation, you need to register your phone number at the waiting kiosk, and you’ll receive a KakaoTalk notification when your table is ready.

The wait wasn’t too bad—about 30 minutes.

First Impressions – A Sophisticated Escape from the Crowds

Unlike the crowded and noisy streets outside, Lounge & Bar was calm, quiet, and perfect for conversation.

🌊 Ocean view? Decent, but the Starbucks on the 2nd floor definitely has the better view.

But given how crowded everything was during the holidays, I was just happy to find a peaceful place to relax!

The Ultimate Indulgence – Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu 🥭🍧

Of course, I had to try Grand Josun’s famous bingsu. They offer:
🍰 Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu with Cake & Champagne Set – ₩150,000
🥭 Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu (Bingsu Only) – ₩68,000

We decided to go for just the bingsu. 😆

First Look – A Work of Art! 🎨

When the Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu arrived, it was beautifully presented with:
✔️ Fresh whipped cream
✔️ Coconut condensed milk
✔️ A side of Kaoliang liquor (Chinese sorghum liquor)

The staff explained that mixing the liquor into the bingsu creates a unique cocktail-like flavor. I couldn’t imagine what that would taste like, so I was super curious!

Taste Test – Was It Worth It? 🤤

🥭 The mango? Absolutely perfect. Fresh, juicy, and incredibly sweet. It covered the entire bingsu, making every bite a mango explosion.

🍧 The ice? Soft, fluffy, and melted beautifully in the mouth.

🥂 The Kaoliang liquor? Surprisingly smooth! It didn’t taste like alcohol at all—it just made the bingsu taste even creamier. After one bite, I kept adding more! 😂

🥥 Coconut condensed milk? Honestly, I didn’t get much coconut flavor—just extra sweetness. Since I’m not a fan of overly sweet things, I tried it once and didn’t use it again.

Final Thoughts – Worth the Price? 🤔

✔️ Mango quality? Amazing!
✔️ Bingsu portion? More than enough!
✔️ Overall experience? Luxury at its finest!

With Seoul hotels now charging ₩80,000–100,000 for bingsu, this felt like a relatively reasonable price for a luxury hotel dessert.

However, if you’re looking strictly for the best ocean view, I’d recommend the Starbucks upstairs instead.

But if you want to escape the holiday crowds and enjoy a peaceful, elegant atmosphere, Lounge & Bar at Grand Josun Busan is definitely worth a visit.
